What can I expect?

During your professional teeth whitening treatment at Skintique, you can expect a comfortable and personalised experience from start to finish. We begin by assessing the initial shade of your teeth using a shade chart, then apply a protective barrier cream around your lips. A cheek retractor is gently placed to keep your mouth open, and a whitening gel is applied to your teeth and activated using a cool, blue LED light. The procedure takes 60 minutes, with a top up every 20 minutes. After the session, we reassess your teeth to show you how many shades lighter your smile has become—typically between 3 to 6 shades after just one hour.

Most clients report little to no discomfort or sensitivity, though some may experience mild, temporary sensitivity afterwards. To maintain your results, we recommend avoiding dark staining substances, such as coffee, tea, red wine, curries, and tobacco, for at least 48 hours. For ongoing brightness.
