What is Skin Needling?

Skin needling is a non-surgical and minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that uses small, sharp needles to create tiny punctures in the skin called micro punctures, inducing the skin into a wound healing response. 

These micro injuries trigger your skin to promote collagen and elastin production, which is clinically proven to help improve skin texture,  fine lines, wrinkles and other skin concerns to ultimately promote healthy, fresh, youthful-looking skin.  It’s also highly effective at reducing unwanted pigmentation, stretch marks, enlarged pores, acne and surgical scars.

We use the TGA approved medical micro needling device, Skin Pen. Its precision depth dial guarantees the needle depth for optimal results. 

To avoid any discomfort that you might experience, we can apply a topical anaesthetic prior to your treatment. 

This treatment is suitable for all skin types. 

What can I expect following the treatment?

Downtime varies with the intensity of the treatment. Immediately after skin needling, you can expect your skin to have some redness, which should calm within 24 hours. Your skin may then feel dry with some mild flaking for 1-5 days.

We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments, with a minimum of 4 - 6 weekly intervals, however, this may vary.
